ITINERARY

September 5 - 16, 2025

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN CALGARY

Arrive in at Calgary airport and embark on a city tour which where you will see the Olympic Stadium
(home of the 1988 Winter Olympics), Calgary Saddledome, Fort Calgary and Calgary Tower. You will be
treated to a Welcome Dinner at Sky 360, a revolving restaurant at the top of Calgary Tower, which offers
magnificent views of Calgary and the Rocky Mountains.

DAY 2 – CALGARY - BANFF

After breakfast today, we head to beautiful Banff to do some sightseeing, which will include travelling
along Tunnel Mountain drive, a visit to Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, and the Banff Hoodoos. Also included
is a scenic ride on the Banff Gondola to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy spectacular views
of the valley below.
Enjoy some free time in downtown Banff in the afternoon. Tonight, join your travel companions for
dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3 – BANFF – LAKE LOUISE - BANFF

Today, we start the day with an easy 2.4 km (45 minute) hike of stunning Johnston Canyon to see the
lower falls. Next we’ll visit Takakkaw Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in all of Canada and then head
to Lake Louise for lunch and to witness the stunning glacier-fed turquoise waters and the soaring peaks
encircling the lake. Finally, we’ll visit Moraine Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Rockies,
before returning back to Banff for an evening at leisure.

DAY 4 – BANFF – JASPER

After enjoying your breakfast, we will travel along the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Sightseeing
stops along this gorgeous highway will include Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Sunwapta Falls and Athabasca
Falls. We will also stop at the Columbia Icefields Centre where you will have the opportunity to travel on
an Ice Explorer to the Athabasca Glacier, a 10,000 year old sheet of ice. Then you will head to the
Glacier Skywalk for jaw-dropping views of Sunwapta Valley.
Then we are off to Jasper for two nights. Enjoy a leisurely evening in Jasper on your own.

DAY 5 – EXPLORING JASPER

Today, we will embark on a Malign Valley Sightseeing Tour. Our exploration will include a stop at
Maligne Canyon for a gentle guided walk across the first two bridges above the gorge, a short stop at
the “disappearing” Medicine Lake, and finally, Maligne Lake. At this picturesque gem of the Canadian
Rockies you will enjoy a Maligne Lake cruise to the world-famous Spirit Island.
The evening is yours to continue exploring beautiful Jasper.

DAY 6 – JASPER – SUN PEAKS

On our way to Sun Peaks today, we will stop at Mount Robson Visitor Centre. From here, you will get a
stunning view of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies! We will also stop at Spahats Falls
before arriving at our hotel in Sun Peaks.

DAY 7 – SUN PEAKS – WHISTLER

After breakfast today, we will visit a winery in the Lillooet Wine Region and try some of their local wines.
Then we continue on to Whistler, a chalet-style pedestrian village at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb
Mountains.
Your evening is free to explore the 2010 Winter Olympics’ sites.

DAY 8 – EXPLORING WHISTLER

Our first visit today will be to Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre where you will learn about the history
and culture of the First Nations people. Afterwards, enjoy a trip on Whistler’s Peak2Peak Gondola.
Delight in the 360-degree views of Whistler Village, mountain peaks, lakes, glaciers and forests as you
travel via the longest unsupported gondola span in the world.
Enjoy the afternoon shopping in the village, or just relaxing at your hotel.

DAY 8 – EXPLORING WHISTLER

DAY 9 – WHISTLER – VICTORIA

Today we travel from Whistler to Victoria with a stop at Shannon Falls, British Columbia’s third highest
waterfall. Our trip will also include a ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver to Nanaimo on
Vancouver Island and a city orientation tour of Victoria.
Once we settle into our hotel in Victoria, take the opportunity to stroll the water front close to our hotel
or in the quaint downtown area with its heritage buildings and beautiful gardens.

DAY 10 – EXPLORING VICTORIA

We start the day with a visit to Butchart Gardens, a must-see garden oasis. It is a world famous 55 acre
floral display with 900 bedding plant varieties. You will also be treated to a traditional Afternoon Tea at
The Dining Room Restaurant at Butchart Gardens.
In the afternoon, we will go on a 3-hour whale watching adventure to search for orcas and humpback
whales.
Your evening will be free to explore quaint Victoria.

DAY 11 – VICTORIA – VANCOUVER

Today, we will travel to Vancouver, a vibrant metropolitan city between the mountains and the sea.
We’ll embark on a city tour of Vancouver to see Stanley Park with its sea wall and totem poles, Gastown,
a neighbourhood comprised of pubs, boutiques, art galleries and a steam-powered clock, and Granville
Public Market with stalls with gourmet food and handcrafted products.
Tonight, toast your fellow travel companions at a Farwell Dinner at a restaurant overlooking beautiful
Vancouver.

DAY 12 – FLY HOME

After breakfast today, your tour ends at Vancouver International Airport. You will travel home with
amazing memories of your visit to Western Canada.
