GARDEN TOUR TO ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDENS AND WHISTLING GARDENS WITH VISIT TO NORTHLAND NURSERY

ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDENS
Travel to Burlington to visit Royal Botanical Gardens. We will spend two hours in Hendrie Park to enjoy the many different gardens in this park including the rose garden, the healing garden, the medieval garden, the lily walk, the scented garden, plus much more.

WHISTLING GARDENS
Whistling Gardens is our next stop. We will have a picnic lunch here including a choice of three salads, sandwiches and wraps, dessert and a beverage.
Next, enjoy a guided tour of one of Ontario’s premier horticultural gardens and home to North America’s largest peony collection and conifer collection. Be dazzled by a fantastic computer run fountain show! Explore over 20 acres of gardens displaying over 4,500 different plants.

NORTHLAND NURSERY
Before heading back home, we will stop at Northland Nursery with a huge selection of unique and interesting plants for purchase.
With over 150,000 flowering shrubs, perennials, daylilies, ornamental grasses, hostas, shrub roses, clematis, vines, hardy lilies and evergreens, they have the largest selection of any garden centre around. All of their plants are ready for your garden in 1 gallon nursery containers and reasonably priced.  Purchase your favourites and we will bring them home on the coach.​
